Who are we

We are a foundation dedicated to promote The Productive Solidarity Model, aiming to generate cultural transformations in which solidarity becomes a social and cultural value to all citizens, to support the reduction of unemployment and poverty, using productive projects in sustainable chains.

We convene and join leaders from different sectors of society, to work for social inclusion, building a social network and solidarity, promoting the consolidation of public-private alliances.  

Our projects

At El Cinco Model, the projects are the way to achieve social inclusion. The goal is to improve the living conditions of small producers as well as rural entrepreneurs contributing to the cultural and social transformation in the areas they live, for which projects are developed under an integral approach by attending the social –familiar and organizational- business, technical and commercial components simultaneously.

The foundation has focused its efforts on the development of agricultural projects in rural areas that help to prevent the migration from the countryside to the cities and contribute to lessen the food crisis in Colombia and worldwide.

Productive Solidarity Model

The Model seeks social inclusion and community empowerment by the development of associative productive projects, in productive chains, using resources coming from individuals and institutions that at the same time are transformed through its solidarity exercise. Those who are part of the projects as they are developing new abilities and stabilizing its incomes should continue the “solidarity chain” as new solidarity individuals joining the development of others in their communities.

What do we want to achieve through The Model?

- The social and cultural transformation is the main purpose and the inclusive project is the mean to achieve it.

- Employment generation is not the end; it is the principal mean to achieve social inclusion.

- The Model seeks that individuals involved in the process are transformed as they support and assist a vulnerable community.

- Not only seeks to transform individuals but to promote a cultural transformation where solidarity becomes a social, cultural and political value to the development of the country.

Mission

To promote the generation of a stronger social fabric, through the implementation of El Cinco Model as a radical alternative of socioeconomic development, fundamentally supported in the solidarity of individuals and institutions, with the goal to create new employments, which will be productive and stable, through the creation of associative entities, which are tied to sustainable productive associations, which facilitate the synergy among the different social actors facing the social, economic and cultural transformation of the communities who have suffered exclusion, and human society in general.
